This year’s Western Design Conference was better than any other we’ve participated in… this year our chair, Painted Ponies, won “Best of Show” and in broad strokes our time there was washed in positive light and good vibes!!

Thanks to Foster & Lynn Friess for their continued support of the WDC, and sponsorship of the "Best of Show" award.
We were happy to see old friends, make new ones and have repeat clients going home with another bag.

Alice Cornell got a black "Lucky Stars" bag this year
Valerie Miller www.steelcow.com has been sporting her bag and matching belt all year and we’ve been enjoying our cow painting… she got another bag and matching wallet this year and we’re looking forward to another Steel Cow masterpiece coming our way, soon!

We fell head over heels for Nancy Anderson of Sweetbird Studio. But, even before we met, I loved her work. Sweetbird Studio www.sweetbirdstudio.com is Nancy’s brainchild, it is kooky and whimsical and clever and genius!

A lovely tribute to our friend, Sonny Tuttle, kicked off the WDC fashion show as Red Nations Art took the stage and danced up a storm in true Sonny fashion, for the last time…
We strutted the catwalk in the WDC fashion show to Keith Urban’s Jeans On, sporting denim and our handbags!

Winning “Best of Show” is quite an honor, especially when up against fantastic artists like Molesworth reincarnate, Marc Taggart http://www.marctaggart.com/

It was after meeting Thea Marx http://www.contemporarywesterndesign.com, that our trip took us to Cody, WY. Thea loved our chair, and loved Sonny Tuttle… she asked us to bring Painted Ponies to her show, Style West in Cody, and we were happy to oblige.
