Depression era American made furnishings stock her 3500 square foot warehouse, waiting for their transformation, for their new life opportunity.

These antiques pieces have solid wood frames and their quality in craftsmanship and construction is a testament to their existence today.

The attention to detail that Harriette gives to every one of her designs is a testament to a love and passion for her work. Because Harriette starts with antique furniture, each and every one of her designs is a one-of-a-kind functional art piece.

The use of fine, richly colored leathers that are supple and soft to the touch are used in all of Harriette’s designs. Master inlay and overlay designs, handcut fringing, tailored nailheads, beautifully finished woods and extreme comfort are standard features in every piece.

Working with antique furniture is second nature to Harriette, who has been collecting and decorating with American antiques for over 40 years. The act of “recycling” these pieces and giving them new life has been part of Harriette’s mission to save vintage handcrafted American furnishings.
