Tepco Roper pattern Western Traveler restaurant china dinner plate. This plate has brown transfer along the rim in a running theme with branding irons. And, the plate’s rim theme also features oxen yoke, cowboy boots, a long horn steer and cowboy hat. Notable to the design are the branding irons all line up to spell the manufacturers name: Tepco! The central scene features a roper chasing a steer with a lasso loop in the air, ready to snare his horns!
Circa 1960s, this plate will be a fantastic serving piece or wall hanging, and will look great alone, or to add to a larger collection! Technical Porcelain and China Ware Company: Tepco, manufactured heavy duty hotel ware, restaurant ware and dinnerware for the hospitality industry. Tepco offered a vast line of china from 1918 – 1968. Tepco Western Traveler pattern is a tan body with dark brown graphic. In great condition, plate shows minor utensil wear but it does not detract from the look.
