Vintage Winold Reiss litho print of a Native American man titled "Bird Sings Different".

Reiss was commissioned for Native portraits by The Great Northern Railway, his works illustrated the Railway's "See America First" campaign that promoted travel to the "Crown of the Continent" on calendars, menus, playing cards, and souvenirs from the 1920s-1950s.

Print states, 'Bird Sings Different learned the art of tanning buckskin, beading and making parfleche bags, and making bright paints from the clay and colored pigments found in the mountain areas'. This graphic piece has great color, Reiss had a way of capturing the features of the Native Americans, and their spirit, as well. Vintage Winold Reiss print matted in yellow and framed in black.
