Western Restaurantware Tepco luncheon plate in Western Traveler “Saddle” pattern. Brown transfer all along the rim has a running theme with branding irons, oxen yoke, cowboy boots, a long horn steer and cowboy hat. The fun part of this design is that the branding irons all line up to spell the manufacturers name: Tepco! The central scene features a tooled saddle in the foreground, while a buckin’ bronc attempts to throw a rider in the background! Circa 1960s, this plate will be a fantastic serving piece or wall hanging, and will look great alone, or to add to a larger collection! Tepco, from Technical Porcelain and China Ware Company manufactured heavy duty hotel ware, restaurant ware and dinnerware for the hospitality industry and private homes from 1918 – 1968. Western Traveler Tepco pattern is a tan body with dark brown graphic. For more about vintage restaurant ware made by Tepco china, click here.
